Do you offer one time support for tutoring?

Our focus here at EB Tutoring is to help students hone their skills and refine them for future education. We can offer emergency sessions for current students but for new students we want to get to know them and their goals prior to beginning their tutoring journey with us.

How does EB Tutoring differ from other companies?

How can we, as parents, feel more confident interacting with teachers that our children may not feel respected with?

That is a common concern among parents of students often in Middle School or High School. We navigate this as a serious part of your child’s wellbeing in our tutoring and Mentoring sessions. We aspire to keep the students connected with the academic material despite the relationship with the teacher. We also focus on empowering our students’ parents to ensure everyone in the family feels entirely supported.

What can we do as parents to make sure our children stick to routines set with their tutor?

We encourage empowerment based learning rather than fear or control based education. We believe our students are capable of succeeding on their own with the support we give them so on the parents’ end we encourage compassion, patience and support with established boundaries.

We love the support you offer our children, can there be any services for the parents to feel more involved ?

Yes! This is a recurring question we hear from the parents so we have decided to start thinking of some ideas that we will introduce in 2026. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please, feel free to email us on suggestionsbox@ebtutoring.ca .

Can there be immediate support available for our children with their ongoing tutor?

Of course! You can always reach out to us in a day’s advance to check in if we are available. We appreciate a direct relationship between parents, students and our team to ensure healthy communication!

Is there a cancellation fee if our child cannot make it to the session?

No, there will not be a cancellation fee in case of an emergency or an already communicated change in schedule. However, both the parent(s) and the student will be contacted directly to discuss if any support is needed on our end. We are here to support your child not condemn them, our team here at EB Tutoring is happy to be a part of your child’s journey!

How much do the coaching sessions cost and what can we expect from them?

The coaching sessions are meant to enhance the support for your child in their personal or academic growth usually in addition to tutoring (if needed only). To learn more, please, visit our Services page and fill out the form following the introduction of services. Our team will reach out within 2-3 business days to schedule an intake appointment with the parent(s) and their child to discuss their academic and personal needs. Upon intake our team will be able to evaluate if we can offer the right support for your child and if not, we can always direct you to services outside of our company! So, please always reach out because your children’s’ well being matters - we want the best for every child, whether it is with us or with someone else!
